Given the nature of the agency’s work (recruiting and enrolling volunteers and youth on their schedules, conducting off-hour match meetings, and attending and coordinating match activities and community and corporate events), staff work a flexible schedule with some required evening and weekend hours.

Volunteer Opportunities at BBBSMB 

One of the largest adult-to-child mentoring organizations in the country - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay - is looking for adult volunteers to help us in our Downtown Boston office.  We offer a number of volunteer opportunities in all areas of the agency for active individuals looking to be involved in a friendly and fast-paced office environment where the work really matters - working with a team of professional staff committed to growing quality, long-term, one-to-one adult/child mentoring relationships.  Volunteer hours are available Monday through Friday between 8am and 6pm and we can work around family and other responsibilities.
