News & Events: Nominate your Big for 2010 Big of the Year!

• Have a more positive outlook towards the future?

Each year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay honors the Bigs who have made the biggest impact on the lives of their Littles at our Big of the Year Celebration.  If the Big in your child’s life has changed his or her life for the better, we would love to hear your story!  This is your chance to tell us all about your Big.

Please complete the online form below by Monday, January 4, 2010.  When filling out the form, please print out a copy for your records.  Forms may be submitted electronically or printed out and sent to:

Be sure to let us know about all the fun (and even the hard) times, memories and stories that your child has experienced with his or her Big. We’d like to hear about all the ways that your child’s Big has made an impact on their life (and yours). We’re happy to take nominations from parents, guardians, or Littles – the only qualification is that your child’s match has been active for one year or more as of January 1, 2010. 

We select 25 - 35 semi-finalists from the nominations and then choose several honorees to be recognized for their extra special efforts at the Big of the Year Celebration in May 2010.  This award presentation highlights some of our amazing volunteers and the friendships they have made with the children in our community.
