Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Committee

The SOGI Committee at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay collaborates with our Racial Equity Committee and Spanish-Speaking Team in leading the agency's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, through advocating for the LGBTQ+ community. This employee-led committee provides education, advocacy, and personal and professional development opportunities to ensure that we are promoting a work place and agency that is reflective of our program participants, staff members, and diverse world. We aspire to build, strengthen, and empower our staff, Bigs, and families served through the use of collaborative advocacy and inclusive practice.
